BespokeForever

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 25 May 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using our website or placing an order with us. They explain who we are, how we work, and the terms on which we sell our jewellery and provide our services. By using bespokeforever.com (the “Site”), requesting a quote, booking an appointment, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

Because our pieces are bespoke and made to order, some of these Terms — particularly those covering quotes, the design approval stage, production times, cancellation and returns — are especially important. We have tried to write them clearly; if anything is unclear, please contact us before you order and we will be glad to help.

1. About us and how to contact us

BespokeForever is the bespoke design studio of London Gold Centre, based in Hatton Garden, London. We design and handcraft made-to-order fine jewellery, and we sell and take commissions through this Site, by appointment, and through direct conversation with our studio.

  • Registered company: BESPOKE FOREVER LTD — registered in England & Wales, company no. 17276805
  • Registered office: 5 Hatton Garden, London EC1N 8AA, United Kingdom
  • Trading name: BespokeForever, the bespoke design studio of London Gold Centre

If you need to contact us about your order, an enquiry, or these Terms, please use any of the details above. Where these Terms say we will contact you, we will do so using the email address, telephone number or messaging details you have given us.

2. These Terms, and changes to them

These Terms apply to every quote, commission, order and sale between you and us, and to your use of the Site. They should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information.

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in how we work or in the law. The version that applies to your order is the version published on the Site at the time you place that order. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page whenever we make changes, and we recommend you review the Terms before each order.

3. Using our website

You may use the Site for lawful purposes only — to browse our designs, request quotes, book appointments, place orders, and contact us. You agree not to misuse the Site, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or use it in any way that could damage or impair it or interfere with another person’s use of it.

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity that takes place under your account. Please tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Site available and its information accurate, but we do not guarantee that the Site will always be available or uninterrupted, and we may suspend, withdraw or change all or part of it without notice.

4. Our jewellery — bespoke and made to order

Almost everything we make is bespoke or made to order. The designs shown on the Site are presented as a starting point and an illustration of our work; each piece is created for you, in the configuration you confirm with us.

  • Images are representative. Photographs, renders, design previews and customised images are intended to show the character of a piece. Because screens vary and gemstones and metals are natural materials, the exact colour, tone, inclusions and finish of your finished piece may differ slightly from what you see on screen.
  • Natural variation. Gemstones are unique natural materials. Where a stone is described by type, shape, colour or approximate carat weight, small natural variations are normal and are part of the individuality of a handmade piece.
  • Specifications. The metals, stones, carat weights, dimensions and other details we confirm in your quote and design approval are the authoritative description of your piece.
  • Hallmarking. Where required by law, precious-metal items are hallmarked in accordance with UK hallmarking requirements.

5. Enquiries, quotes and pricing

Many of our pieces are priced on enquiry because they are made to order and depend on the materials, stones and specification you choose. When you make an enquiry, request a quote, or ask us to customise or design a piece, we prepare a personalised quote for you.

  • A quote sets out the piece, its specification and the price, and is provided for your consideration. It is an invitation to proceed, not a binding contract, until you accept it and we confirm your order (see Section 7).
  • Quotes are valid for the period stated in the quote or, if no period is stated, for 30 days. Prices can change after that time because the cost of gemstones and precious metals moves with the market.
  • We confirm the availability of stones and materials before production begins. If a stone or material you have chosen cannot be sourced, we will contact you promptly to discuss alternatives or to arrange a refund of any sum you have paid for that element.
  • We take care to describe and price each piece accurately. If we discover a genuine error in a price or description before your order is confirmed — or, in the case of an obvious mistake, before we make your piece — we will tell you, and you may confirm the corrected order or cancel it for a full refund of anything paid.

6. Designing your piece and the approval stage

For bespoke and customised commissions, our process is designed to make sure you are happy before any piece is made:

  • We prepare a design — which may include images, previews or a detailed CAD (computer-aided design) render — based on the specification we have agreed.
  • We share the design with you for approval. We begin manufacturing only once you have approved it. Your approval confirms the design, specification and sizing of your piece.
  • Once you have approved the design and we have begun making your piece, it is being handcrafted specifically for you and generally cannot be changed or cancelled (see Sections 12 and 13).
  • If you would like changes during the design stage, please tell us before you approve the design. Significant changes to the specification may affect the price and the timescale, and we will confirm any difference with you before proceeding.

7. How a contract is formed

A contract between you and us is formed when we confirm your order — for example, when we accept your order after you have accepted a quote and made the required payment, or when we confirm acceptance of an order placed through the Site. Your payment, or your acceptance of a quote, is an offer to commission or buy the piece; our confirmation is our acceptance of that offer.

Where you pay through the Site or through a payment link we send you, your payment secures your commission — it confirms your order and reserves our studio’s time and materials. It does not, by itself, mean manufacturing has begun: for bespoke pieces, production starts after the design approval stage described in Section 6.

If we are unable to accept your order — for example, because a material cannot be sourced, because of an error in the price or description, or because we are unable to meet your requirements — we will let you know and will not charge you, or will refund any payment you have made.

8. Price and payment

  • Currency and taxes. Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Any taxes, duties or import charges that may apply to international orders are dealt with in Section 11.
  • What the price includes. The price we confirm is for the piece and specification set out in your quote or order. Delivery charges, where they apply, are shown separately before you commit to your order.
  • Payment. Depending on the piece and its value, we may ask for full payment, or a deposit followed by the balance before delivery. We will make clear what is due and when before you commit.
  • How you pay. Payments are taken securely through our payment provider, or by another method we agree with you, such as bank transfer. We do not store your full card details; card payments are handled by our payment provider.
  • Ownership. Ownership of a finished piece passes to you once we have received payment in full and the piece has been delivered or collected.

9. Making your piece — production times

Each piece is made to order, so it begins when you confirm. We will give you an estimated production time — typically around four to six weeks from confirmation (and, for bespoke commissions, from design approval), though this varies with the complexity of the piece and the availability of materials.

Any timescales we give are good-faith estimates rather than guarantees. We will keep you informed and will contact you if we expect a significant delay. Time is not of the essence unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

10. Delivery, collection and risk

  • Worldwide, fully insured delivery. We arrange secure, insured delivery and will confirm the arrangements for your order. A signature may be required on delivery.
  • Collection. Where offered, you may collect your piece from our studio at 5 Hatton Garden by appointment. We may ask for proof of identity and of your order on collection.
  • Risk. Responsibility for the piece passes to you when it is delivered to the address you have given, or when you (or someone you have nominated) collect it.
  • Delivery details and failed deliveries. Please make sure the delivery details you give us are complete and correct. If delivery is unsuccessful because no one is available to receive or sign for a secure, insured item, or because the details given were incorrect, we may need to make further arrangements with you and additional charges may apply.

11. International orders, customs and import duties

We are pleased to deliver worldwide. For orders delivered outside the United Kingdom:

  • Your order may be subject to import duties, taxes and customs charges levied once it reaches its destination country. These are set by the destination country and are your responsibility.
  • We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please check the rules of your own country before ordering.
  • You are considered the importer of the goods and must comply with the laws and regulations of the destination country. We may be required to share information with couriers and customs authorities to deliver your order, as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Your right to cancel, and changes to an order

Bespoke and personalised pieces. Because our pieces are made to your specification or personalised for you, they are exempt from the standard 14-day right to cancel that applies to many online purchases under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. This means that once your order for a bespoke, made-to-order or personalised piece is confirmed, you do not have an automatic right to cancel and receive a refund simply because you have changed your mind.

We want you to be delighted with your piece, so:

  • If you change your mind before we have begun making your piece — for example during the quote or design stage, and before you have approved the design — please contact us. Where work has not yet started, we will usually be able to cancel your order and refund what you have paid, less any costs we have already reasonably incurred (such as non-returnable stones already sourced, or design work already carried out).
  • Once you have approved the design and production has begun, your piece is being handcrafted specifically for you and your order can no longer be cancelled or refunded on a change-of-mind basis.
  • If you need to change a confirmed order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to help, but we cannot guarantee that changes are possible once production has started, and changes may affect the price and timescale.

None of this affects your legal rights if a piece is faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality (see Section 13).

13. Returns, faults and your legal rights

Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected by these Terms. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the pieces we supply must be as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for any purpose you have made known to us.

  • If your piece arrives faulty, damaged, or significantly not as described, please contact us promptly and, where you can, include photographs. We will arrange to inspect the piece and, depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, to repair it, replace it, or provide a refund.
  • Please report any item that arrives damaged in transit as soon as possible after delivery, so that we can deal with it — and with our insurer — quickly.
  • Minor, natural variations in handmade pieces and in natural gemstones (see Section 4) are not faults.
  • Because bespoke and personalised pieces are made to your specification, we are not able to accept returns or give refunds for these items on a change-of-mind basis (see Section 12).

Where you have a right to a refund, we will refund you using the same payment method you used, within the time required by law.

14. Resizing, aftercare, repairs and care

Every piece is made by the established London Gold Centre studio, and we stand behind our craft. Lifetime aftercare is available through our atelier in Hatton Garden — including resizing, cleaning, polishing and repair.

  • Some aftercare — such as a first resizing within a reasonable period — may be offered as a courtesy; other work, and work needed because of accidental damage, ordinary wear and tear, or alterations carried out by someone else, may be chargeable. We will always confirm any cost with you before carrying out chargeable work.
  • Fine jewellery should be treated with care, and we will gladly advise you on caring for your piece. Damage caused by misuse, accident, neglect, or unauthorised repair is not a fault.

15. Appointments and consultations

You can book an appointment or consultation with us — in person at 5 Hatton Garden, by video, or by phone. When you book, we collect the details we need to arrange and confirm your appointment. If you need to change or cancel an appointment, please let us know in advance so that we can offer the time to someone else. We may occasionally need to rearrange an appointment, and will contact you if we do.

16. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, images, design previews, renders, graphics, logos and the designs of our pieces — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use and to deal with us. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit any of our content or designs without our written permission.

Where we create a design, render or customised image in response to your enquiry, it remains our intellectual property unless we agree otherwise in writing; we provide it to help you decide on and approve your commission.

17. Our responsibility for loss or damage

We do not exclude or limit our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for any breach of the legal rights you have as a consumer.

Subject to that, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. We supply our pieces for private, domestic use; if you use them for any commercial purpose we will have no liability to you for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

18. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures in performing our obligations that are caused by events outside our reasonable control — for example, supply shortages of particular stones or materials, transport or courier disruption, extreme weather, or other events beyond our control. If such an event happens, we will contact you as soon as we can, and we will work with you to minimise its effect. Where there is a significant delay, you may contact us to cancel an affected order and receive a refund for any pieces you have paid for but not received, subject to Section 12 where production of a bespoke piece has already begun.

19. Your privacy

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please read it to understand what we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have.

20. Complaints and resolving disputes

If something is not right, please tell us — we would always like the chance to put it right. Contact us using the details in Section 1 and we will work with you to resolve the matter as quickly and fairly as we can. These Terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your order, are governed by the law described in Section 22.

21. Other important terms

  • We may transfer this agreement. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation; this will not affect your rights under these Terms.
  • You need our consent to transfer your rights. You may only transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to another person if we agree in writing.
  • Nobody else has rights under this contract. This contract is between you and us; no other person has any right to enforce its terms.
  • Each section stands on its own. If a court finds any part of these Terms unlawful or unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply.
  • Delay in enforcing these Terms. If we do not insist that you perform any of your obligations, or if we delay in taking steps against you, that does not mean we have given up our rights.

22. Governing law

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also be able to bring proceedings in your local courts as permitted by law.
