About this piece
Coral Lantern is a studio-approved design for a romantic high-jewellery cocktail ring, made to order in the shown configuration. At its centre sits a 2.28ct oval lab-grown diamond in a fancy vivid blush coral tone, held in an open-gallery bezel that keeps the profile refined while giving the stone a luminous, uninterrupted presence.
The structure is intentionally asymmetric. Two polished platinum ribbons rise from a tapered 18ct rose gold band, creating a cool architectural frame around the warm centre stone. Along the inner ribbon edge, 18 pale sapphire micro-pavé accents add a fine, icy glimmer without competing with the oval diamond.
Three moonstone cabochons are set into platinum micro-bezel cups at irregular intervals along the shoulders. Their translucent silver-blue adularescence gives the ring a softer, atmospheric note, balancing the coral diamond and rose gold with a sense of moonlit movement. The result is a sculptural evening ring with contrast, intimacy and considered proportion.

Metals & stones in this piece
Rose gold is an alloy of gold, copper, and silver, giving it its distinctive warm, pink hue. Its colour and durability are excellent for daily wear, though the copper content means it can develop a subtle, personal patina over many years. Platinum is a naturally white, hypoallergenic, and exceptionally dense precious metal. It is highly resistant to tarnish and corrosion, and while it develops a soft, satiny finish called a 'patina' with wear, its substantial weight means it loses minimal metal over a lifetime. Lab-grown diamonds are physically, chemically, and optically identical to mined diamonds, offering the same exceptional hardness (10 on the Mohs scale) and brilliance. A polished finish on both metals provides a high shine, which will gently soften with regular wear but can be easily restored by a professional polisher.
Caring for this piece
For daily care, clean your jewellery with a soft, lint-free cloth. For a deeper clean, use a mild solution of warm water and a few drops of gentle dish soap, scrubbing gently with a soft-bristled toothbrush. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Always store pieces separately in a soft-lined box or pouch to prevent scratches. Avoid exposing rose gold, platinum, and diamonds to harsh chemicals, including chlorine, bleach, and household cleaners. Remove jewellery before swimming, exercising, or applying lotions and perfumes. While diamonds are extremely hard, they can chip from a sharp blow, and platinum's soft patina can be polished back to a high shine by your jeweller when desired.
