Iceline Marquise Platinum Ring, Icy Blue Lab Diamond & Sapphire

Iceline is built around a 2.25ct marquise lab-grown diamond in fancy vivid icy steel blue, held by six slender blade prongs — two knife-edged at the tips — within a geometric open-gallery platinum mounting. Tapered pavé shoulders and a ridged milgrain rail frame two flush-set natural cornflower sapphire baguettes, their deep blue grounding the cool architecture above. Made to order in Hatton Garden.

How this works

You stay in control. Before manufacturing begins.

Once your order is placed, we don't go straight into manufacturing. The atelier first prepares everything you need to be sure — and nothing is made until you approve it.

  • A full CAD design

A precise 3D render showing the exact piece we will make for you.

  • The complete specifications

Stones, metals, sizes, settings and finish — set out clearly so nothing is left to interpretation.

  • Photographs of the actual stones

And, where useful, short videos — so you see the exact stones we will set, not stock images.

Manufacturing only begins after you have reviewed all of this and confirmed you are happy. Your piece is made on your approval, not before.

Worldwide delivery

Crafted in London. Sent wherever you are.

We work from our atelier in Hatton Garden — but the stones, the metals, the inspiration and the craftsmanship behind each piece can come together from all over the world. In a way, the piece you wear carries a little of the world with it.

Secure, insured delivery

Every order is sent fully insured by carriers we trust, with tracking from the moment your piece leaves the atelier — so you know exactly where it is, every step of the way.

A note on local taxes

For deliveries outside the UK, import duty, customs charges or local VAT may apply at the destination. These are set by the country you're in and are the customer's responsibility — but we'll happily guide you through what to expect, and our delivery partner will help with the formalities so nothing comes as a surprise.

About this piece

The Iceline engagement ring is a studio-approved design for a bride drawn to cool colour, clean geometry and a centre stone with quiet distinction. Its 2.25ct marquise lab-grown diamond is specified in a fancy vivid icy steel blue, held in six slender blade prongs that elongate the stone’s silhouette and protect the pointed tips with a sharper architectural line.

The platinum setting is designed as a refined cathedral with an open gallery, allowing deliberate negative space beneath the diamond rather than unnecessary heaviness. Tapered pavé shoulders bring fine diamond detail into the band, while a ridged milgrain rail gives the setting an Art Deco rhythm without overwhelming the marquise centre.

Two calibré-cut cornflower blue natural sapphire baguettes sit flush into tapered side channels, acting as secondary colour notes that deepen the blue palette and anchor the diamond above. This is a made to order Studio Product shown in its current configuration; our studio reviews the details before production, including stone grading, ring size and final setting proportions.

Metals & stones in this piece

Platinum is a prestigious and naturally white metal, prized for its rarity, density, and enduring lustre. Unlike other precious metals, it does not tarnish or discolour with time, maintaining its cool, luminous sheen. Its remarkable durability—resistant to wear and corrosion—makes it an ideal choice for daily wear, though its softness relative to hardness means it develops a gentle patina over years of use, a characteristic many cherish as a sign of authenticity and lived-in elegance. Lab-grown diamonds, chemically and optically identical to mined diamonds, offer exceptional brilliance and hardness (10 on the Mohs scale), ensuring they resist scratching and retain their fire for generations. A polished finish on platinum enhances its reflective quality, though this surface may soften subtly with wear, adding to the piece’s unique character rather than detracting from it.

Caring for this piece

To preserve your platinum and lab-grown diamond jewellery, clean it regularly with a soft-bristled brush and warm, soapy water, then rinse and pat dry with a lint-free cloth. Store pieces separately in a fabric-lined box or pouch to prevent scratches from other jewellery. Avoid exposing platinum to harsh chemicals, such as chlorine or bleach, which can weaken the metal over time, and remove your jewellery before swimming, gardening, or engaging in physical activities that may subject it to knocks or abrasions. While platinum is highly durable, its polished surface may develop a natural patina; if you prefer a high-shine finish, a jeweller can repolish it for you. Handle your pieces with care to maintain their beauty for years to come.
